Chief of Staff to the CTO

Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform that helps nonprofit organizations process donations through checkout experiences, customizable widgets, portals, and internal applications.
What you will do
- Run the engineering leadership cadence, including director-level syncs, agendas, documented decisions, and follow-through.
- Own the quarterly OKR and QBR cycle, including objective updates, follow-ups, status reviews, and executive preparation.
- Maintain a live record of leadership decisions and commitments and drive them to closure.
- Identify stalled or ownerless cross-team initiatives and establish clear ownership and checkpoints.
- Coordinate special projects such as organizational models, data-team setup, vendor selection, security consulting, AI-agent programs, technical audits, and tool pilots.
- Prepare concise, decision-ready materials for the CTO, executive team, and board-level audiences.
Requirements
- Experience running engineering operations, technical program management, or an equivalent organizational operating system at scale.
- Demonstrated ownership of ambiguous, multi-team initiatives delivered through influence rather than direct authority.
- Strong executive synthesis, operating discipline, and ability to build durable planning and follow-up systems.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, engineering managers, and directors without acting as the technical authority.
- Fluent English at C1+ level and Russian required for internal and external technical communications.
Nice to have
- Chief of Staff, Engineering Operations, or TPM-lead experience reporting to engineering leadership.
- Experience improving efficiency in engineering organizations of 100+ people using automation and AI tooling.
- Procurement, vendor contracting, or budgeting experience.
- Nonprofit technology or payments-domain familiarity.
- Familiarity with Node.js, NestJS, React, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Kafka, Cloudflare, PCI DSS, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.

Salary: €6,500–€7,300 gross per month
