Chief of Staff (on-site)
Your role
Cloover is expanding across Europe — and the partnerships that unlock new markets, new installer networks, and new go-to-market channels don't build themselves. We're looking for a Chief of Staff to sit at the centre of that expansion: building strategic partnerships with manufacturers, software companies, and industry players, developing joint go-to-market strategies, and leading the cross-functional projects that make our internal operations scale as fast as our ambitions.
This is a role for someone who thinks like an entrepreneur, operates like a founder, and wants direct influence on how Cloover grows across Germany and beyond. You'll work across Sales, Tech, and Operations — and you'll lead independently, not as a coordinator.
You'll report to our Head of Business Development and work at the centre of the leadership team from day one.
Your mission
- Build and develop strategic partnerships with manufacturers, software companies, and industry players — with the explicit goal of bringing new installers onto the Cloover platform and unlocking their networks for our financing and software solutions.
- Develop joint go-to-market initiatives with partners that create measurable pipeline — not just relationship management, but commercial outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional projects independently, improving workflows and interfaces across Sales, Tech, Operations, and the trades without needing a brief to get started.
- Analyse existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop pragmatic solutions that scale — not just fix the symptom.
- Translate business requirements into practical solutions across teams, bridging the gap between what the business needs and what gets built or deployed.
- Communicate across all levels with clarity and precision — from installers on the ground to senior leadership — and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Your profile
- 2+ years of experience in venture development, consulting, or investment banking — ideally in a fast-growing tech or scale-up environment.
- A track record of driving complex, cross-functional projects to measurable business outcomes — not just managing them to completion.
- Moves from a problem to a structured solution without waiting for a full brief — identifies what needs solving and gets started.
- Bridges business and tech teams effectively — can operate in both worlds without losing precision in either.
- Communicates complex topics clearly across audiences: a partner negotiation, an internal process doc, and a leadership update require different registers and delivers all three.
- Fluent in German and English — both required given our markets and internal team.
- Based in Berlin and energised by being in the room. We're intentionally office-first — decisions get made in real time, partnerships get stress-tested over lunch, and the founding team is ten metres away.
