Description
- Serve as a thought partner to the CEO on scenario modeling, resource allocation, and growth
- Maintain decision-making based on patient care, employee experience, and financial sustainability
- Prepare analyses and materials for leadership team decisions
- Own supply-and-demand forecasting across patient demand, staffing, clinical capacity, geography, payer, and service type
- Identify capacity constraints or excess capacity and recommend interventions
- Establish a planning cadence for reviewing forecasts, assumptions, and decisions
- Lead the effort to reduce the gap between delivered services and reimbursed services
- Analyze discounted, unreimbursed, or nonpayment-risk services and identify root causes
- Partner with clinical, revenue cycle, contracting, growth, product, and operations teams
- Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and longer-term financial plans with the CEO and fractional CFO
- Help department leaders understand budgets and financial implications
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, investigate variances, and recommend adjustments
- Support scenario planning for hiring, growth, payer or geographic expansion, service changes, and strategic investments
- Translate company goals into KPIs covering clinical quality, patient access, engagement, operational performance, growth, and financial health
- Own the company-wide KPI system, including data validation, dashboards, reporting, and performance reviews
- Analyze performance trends, risks, and gaps for executive discussion
- Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives
- Identify risks and conflicts requiring executive attention and present clear options
- Create accountability across teams while preserving department leaders’ ownership
Salary
$175,000 - $200,000 / year
