About the Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO in driving our most critical long-term strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role focused on accelerating the company’s growth trajectory—from the current $700 million in annual revenue to more than $1 billion within three years.
The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic thought partner, operator, and executor—leading cross-functional efforts to strengthen policy, process, and people infrastructure while directly supporting the CEO on Board-level matters and M&A activities. This role is ideal for a results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, isn’t afraid to jump in the weeds, can translate vision into executable plans, and possesses the judgment and presence to represent the CEO at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Leadership
- Design and implement best-in-class processes and governance structures that improve organizational efficiency and decision-making speed.
- Lead or support talent and organizational development initiatives to build the leadership bench needed for $1B+ scale.
- Track and report on strategic initiative performance through dashboards, scorecards, and regular executive updates.
Strategic Growth & Scaling Initiatives
- Identify, prioritize, and lead high-impact initiatives focused on policy, process, and people improvements that enable scalable operations and sustainable growth.
- Own and drive the company’s three-year strategic roadmap to achieve >$1B revenue, including the development and execution of key growth levers (organic expansion, operational efficiency, and inorganic opportunities).
- Partner with functional leaders (Finance, Operations, Marketing, HR, etc.) to align resources, remove roadblocks, and track progress against aggressive KPIs.
CEO & Board Support
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for all Board-related activities, including preparing meeting materials, presentations, updates, and follow-up actions.
- Anticipate CEO needs and proactively manage executive-level communications, special projects, and time-sensitive Board requests.
- Act as a trusted advisor, synthesizing complex information into clear, concise executive summaries and recommendations.
M&A and Corporate Development
- Support the full M&A lifecycle—from target identification and evaluation to due diligence, deal structuring, integration planning, and post-merger value realization.
- Conduct financial, operational, and strategic analysis to support inorganic growth decisions.
- Maintain an active pipeline of potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in high-growth operating roles with specific Power Delivery Construction and Engineering experience.
- Proven track record supporting or leading strategic growth initiatives that delivered measurable revenue scale.
- Exceptional analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and engage at the C-suite and Board level.
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and executive presence.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while maintaining a bias for action and results.

Salary: $225,000 - $275,000 a year
