Role Description

The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the CEO. Core responsibilities include managing cross-functional initiatives, streamlining business operations, driving strategic priorities, and ensuring efficient communication across the organization to include spinout ventures. Additionally, the Chief of Staff will support decision-making through data analysis. 

Put simply, the Chief of Staff owns the path from development to operation internally. Responsible for driving execution across Toro and its portfolio, ensuring each venture is built, staffed, and operating effectively.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

• Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee complex initiatives and ensure timely execution.
• Proficiency in strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving to support leadership in achieving organizational goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in managing budgets, analyzing data, and developing reports to inform strategic decisions.
• Ability to manage and coordinate leadership initiatives while maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Leadership experience in operations or strategic roles, preferably within technology, innovation, or a venture-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a focus on teamwork and adaptability.
