LEC Beverages is the exclusive UK distributor of Tsingtao beer, one of China’s most internationally recognised beverage brands. The business operates under London Export Corporation, a long-established international trading company with over 70 years of experience in China–UK trade.

The company has built a growing national distribution platform across wholesale, retail, and hospitality channels and is now entering a key phase of expansion.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to support the operational and commercial execution of LEC Beverages.

This is a high-responsibility, execution-focused role for an individual who is highly organised, commercially minded, and able to operate effectively across multiple areas of the business.

The role requires someone who can manage complexity, maintain momentum, and ensure that priorities are consistently delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Support

  •  Support the execution of sales strategy across wholesale and retail channels

  •  Engage directly with customers, distributors, and partners

  •  Assist in progressing and closing commercial opportunities

  •  Maintain strong and responsive relationships with key accounts

Operations & Logistics

  •  Oversee day-to-day operational execution

  •  Coordinate closely with warehousing and logistics partners

  •  Ensure efficient stock movement and order fulfilment

  •  Identify operational risks and resolve issues proactively

Execution & Delivery

  •  Translate business priorities into clear, actionable plans

  •  Track progress across multiple workstreams

  •  Ensure deadlines and commitments are met without delay

  •  Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail

Team & Capability Building

  •  Support the development of internal processes and structure

  •  Contribute to building a small, high-performing team over time

  •  Drive accountability and performance standards across functions

Technology & AI Integration

LEC Beverages is actively developing internal capabilities in technology and AI-driven tools to support sales, operations, and forecasting.

The successful candidate will:

  •  Be comfortable working with digital tools and systems

  •  Contribute to the implementation of AI-enabled processes

  •  Support the development of internal operational efficiency

Candidate Profile

Experience

  •  Experience within beer, drinks, FMCG, or distribution sectors is strongly preferred

  •  Background in operations, commercial roles, or high-growth environments

  •  Experience working with wholesalers, logistics providers, or retail accounts

  •  Demonstrated ability to operate effectively under pressure
