The Role

The garden3d Chief of Staff role is a senior operating partner responsible for translating our vision into coordinated execution across a collective of creative, technical, and physical businesses, a revolving door of 50+ contributors at any given time. This role serves as a force multiplier - coordinating many parties, aligning priorities, driving clarity, and ensuring that strategy turns into measurable progress.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate execution of vision across various creative and technical businesses
  • Manage executive-level relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
  • Ensure quality standards are upheld across all projects and services
  • Document deliverables and manage change effectively to avoid surprises
  • Oversee client services, hiring, and performance systems across all business lines
  • Actively drive operational excellence and process improvements
  • Lead special projects including launching new spaces and acquiring businesses

Qualifications

  • 8-15+ years of leadership experience in operations or management roles
  • Experience in software development, design consultancy, or the creative industry
  • Proven track record of scaling services-based organizations
  • Direct experience with workforce planning and resource management
  • Strong financial literacy and understanding of cash flow dynamics
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information
  • Success in leading cross-departmental projects and initiatives
