Role Overview

AssetCool is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to help curate growth efforts, working closely with the CEO to turn priorities into clear plans with owners and deadlines, leading cross-team projects, supporting leadership decision-making, and coordinating fundraising and investor relations. This senior strategic role involves delegated authority to solve blockers but is not a line management position.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the CEO to convert priorities into structured plans with owners and timelines.
• Lead time-critical, cross-functional projects across parts, chemistry, robotics, engineering, commercial, operations, and R&D.
• Coordinate fundraising, investor relations, board and investor deck preparation.
• Resolve friction points across teams with delegated authority on a project basis.
• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and decision papers for leadership meetings.
• Develop lightweight operating rhythms for scalable business processes.
• Act as a strategic sounding board for the CEO on big commercial and strategic decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Expert experience in high-growth, venture or private equity-backed companies as Chief of Staff, strategy consultant, or startup operations lead supporting a CEO.
• Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects without single team ownership.
• Experience coordinating fundraising, investor relations, and board reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, synthesizing complex info into clear recommendations.
• Comfort with ambiguity, building just enough structure to keep business moving.
• Excellent relationship-building and confident communication style.
• Strong business judgment with data-informed decision framing.
• Effective use of AI tools for analysis, coordination, and communication.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in deep-tech, hardware, robotics, or engineering-led businesses.
• Background in rigorous, analytical environments such as management consulting.
• Direct experience working through funding rounds.
• Prior experience at similar company stages (post-Series A, scaling fast).
• Experience in venture-backed or private equity-backed fast-growth environments.
