Job Overview

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to join our team and serve as a strategic integrator for the Chief Data Officer, operating across a major function or business domain to connect strategy and execution. The role ensures the Data organization scales effectively via cohesive operating systems that drive alignment, accountability, and results across multiple teams. You will design and improve frameworks underpinning performance including planning, governance, decision-making, and resource allocation.

Objectives of this role:

• Translate company strategy into functional operating systems connecting priorities, plans, and execution across teams
• Drive cross-functional alignment within and adjacent to the Data organization ensuring shared accountability
• Design and evolve frameworks for planning, goal-setting, and performance tracking
• Enable high-quality decision-making via data, narratives, and governance models
• Ensure organizational readiness and adaptability balancing scale with speed
• Strengthen leadership within the Data org to increase focus, clarity, and follow-through

Responsibilities:

• Manage and improve CDO Org operating rhythm including timely KPI reviews and actions
• Partner with People, Finance, Admin to drive strategic change and improvement organization-wide
• Drive strategic and operational planning for the CDO org, improving processes for clarity on results and impact
• Oversee a portfolio of strategic projects, steering complex cross-functional initiatives and consensus-building
• Lead employee engagement strategy with People Business Partner and handle internal communications
• Create cross-functional connections to accelerate decision-making and remove friction
• Facilitate strategic meetings ensuring alignment and follow-through, representing the CDO in key meetings
• Build relationships with CDO’s direct reports and others to understand needs and help define strategies
