Description

  • Run the engineering leadership cadence, including director-level syncs, agendas, documented decisions, and follow-through
  • Drive the quarterly OKR and QBR cycle, including objective updates, follow-ups, issue escalation, and review preparation
  • Maintain a live record of leadership decisions and commitments and chase them to closure
  • Identify stalled or ownerless cross-team work and establish named ownership
  • Coordinate special projects through chartering, planning, tracking, and handoff to permanent owners
  • Prepare concise, decision-ready materials for the CTO, executive team, and board-level audiences
  • Facilitate delegated decisions to closure through documentation, escalation, and communication
  • Standardize engineering leadership planning, tracking, and communication rituals and templates
  • Partner across Product, Data/Analytics, BizOps, Finance, Legal, and IT on initiatives, procurement, contracts, and budgeting
  • Use AI actively in day-to-day work and identify opportunities to apply AI within the function
  • Establish operating cadence, map ownerless initiatives, take over the OKR/QBR loop, and set performance baselines during the first 90 days

Requirements

  • Track record running the operating system of an engineering organization, likely as a TPM lead, head of engineering operations, or equivalent
  • Ownership of cadence, planning, and cross-team coordination at organizational scale
  • Demonstrated ownership of ambiguous, multi-team initiatives delivered through influence without direct authority
  • Track record turning complex information into concise, decisive executive-level material
  • Ability to build durable operating systems and follow-up loops
  • Ability to work effective
