Description

• Represent the CTO in internal leadership meetings, client calls, and technical reviews
• Make decisions within agreed scope, document decisions, and escalate matters requiring the CTO
• Manage the Solutions Engineering pod, including goals, delivery commitments, team growth, and off-track client engagements
• Review solution architectures and technical proposals before client presentation
• Read code when technical decisions are contested
• Run scoping and solutioning sessions with enterprise accounts
• Translate client needs into deliverable work for the Solutions Engineering pod
• Defend project timelines with clients
• Evaluate and vet AI tools, recommend adoption or rejection to the CTO, and help implement approved tools
• Manage the technical project and innovation portfolio, reporting status, risk, and progress to executive leadership
• Forecast staffing needs and allocate resources across projects
• Own recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and team shaping for Solutions Engineering
• Set the agenda for technical planning and maintain records of open decisions and owners
• Follow up on commitments and ensure execution
• Connect engineering with account teams so client commitments align with delivery capabilities

• Four or more years in a technical role
• Track record of owning technical work end to end
