The Role

The Chief of Staff to the SVP, Global Value Engineering is a trusted member of the Value Engineering leadership team. Responsible for directed and self-directed work, this role drives operational excellence and execution of strategic and vital projects in VE or for GTM. The Chief of Staff enables communication, collaboration, strategy execution, and special projects across the Value Engineering organization and serves as a sounding board for the SVP.

The work you’ll do:

• Directly support the SVP in defining and executing the strategic roadmap
• Lead and execute urgent and strategic key projects for the SVP and broader organization
• Partner closely with SVP on Partnership and Customer initiatives
• Engage with strategic initiatives impacting growth and trajectory of the global VE organization
• Serve as a sounding board for new ideas and initiatives
• Manage VE Leadership governance, including preparation and strategy for meetings
• Collaborate with SVP, direct reports, and key stakeholders on initiatives and meetings
• Manage budget in partnership with FP&A
• Drive cross-functional processes ensuring alignment with current programs
• Support communication of key messaging internally and externally with senior leaders

The qualifications you need:

• Understanding of Celonis’ strategy and organizational navigation
• Strong business and commercial acumen with global scale-up and public company readiness experience
• Deep project management experience with complex projects
• Prior consulting experience preferred
• Ability to solve complex problems and build scalable processes
• Innovative, comfortable with abstract ideas across multiple Finance areas
• Ability to learn quickly in a high-growth, changing environment
• Experience handling sensitive financial material in a public company
• Collaborative and efficient stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable interacting with Board and C-Suite
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Independent and autonomous work approach, with ability to inspire collaboration
• Problem solver, analytical and organized thinker
• Calm under pressure with initiative and ability to work with diverse people
• Willingness to take on new challenges for scope growth

Salary

$149,000—$176,000 USD annually (base salary range for New York, full-time)
